About

I am a behavioural scientist interested in applying ideas from ecology and evolution to human behaviour. I have worked on such topics as cooperation, reproductive decisions, parenting and families, personality, and health. My research uses theoretical modelling and behavioural data from several countries, especially the UK. I am currently mainly working on issues to do with socioeconomic inequality in contemporary Britain, and its consequences for health, life history and social behaviour.
