Katherine Lloyd is an AHRC-funded 3rd Year PhD candidate at the International Centre for Cultural and Heritage Studies, Newcastle University. Her thesis examines the relationship between heritage, national identity and cultural diversity in Scotland. She holds an MA in Heritage Education and Interpretation from Newcastle University and MA (Hons) in English Literature and Scottish Ethnology from the University of Edinburgh. She has also worked in education and audience research in museums in Scotland and Canada. She currently teaches at Newcastle University and the University of Edinburgh.
