About
I'm a professional translator from French and Italian into English, specialising in subtitling, creative translation and medical translation.
I teach French > English and Italian > English subtitling classes on Leeds University's MA in Audiovisual Translation Studies, and I supervise and mark subtitling projects (dissertations). I have also taught on on Newcastle University's translation MAs in the past.
I have an MA in Professional Translating for European Languages from Newcastle University, and over six years' professional subtitling experience.
